Diesel

Hi,

My name is Megan and I adopted Diesel on 12/08/10. He was almost 2 months old. He is now 6 months old. He is an amazing kid and I am so lucky to have found him. He is definitely my life!

Below I included pictures of Diesel.

Buddy found his new Best Friend, Kellsie

This is Kellsie after she first met Buddy at the Brazos Animal Shelter. She was very excited to get her new puppy at the Pawsitively Spring event the following day.

We have loved every minute with him! He is such a baby and loves to be held and snuggle! Watching him hop around (like a rabbit) cracks us up! And he is trying desperately to be buddies with our 8 year old Lab! 🙂

Thanks for all you do to help the animals. My dad was a vet and I know he is smiling down on our family and the animal shelter because of Buddy 🙂

Here are some pics I took (love the one from behind, Kellsie walking to the car to take Buddy home…you can see the “Support the BAS” shirt AND Buddy’s cute tail…it might make a good ad!) 🙂 Thanks again for all you do!

Jake – The Perfect Fit!

Just thought you’d like to see how pretty he is.  He IS a wonderful dog. So docile.  Just wants to hang out with us, be wherever we are..he is wonderful.  Thank you so much.

Your staff said that you liked homecoming pictures.  So, here they are, taken today.

Thank you to his foster family for fostering him.  He is doing so well with what you taught him.

BTW, that is my 2 year old grand-daughter, Lili!

Meet Sasha

This is Sasha. My son and I adopted her from your shelter about 3 years ago.  Her previous owner abandoned her at the shelter because “She was too high maintenance.”

She has been a joy for my son to be around and play with. Everyone who sees her asks what type of dog she is and compliments us on her playfulness and beauty.

ZZ, my wonder dog

It’s with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I need to tell you that ZZ’s life came to an end tonight. She was an amazing dog: two-time cancer survivor, 16.5 year old shelter dog, star of calendars, television, and magazines. I adopted her from the Brazos Animal Shelter in August 1994, and she had been at my side ever since. At the end she was deaf and blind, but she still had spunk until fairly recently. She was a special dog, and she will be missed.
